Excel 2007 crashing

When I try to change the font color of text in a cell, Excel crashes at the
moment I click on the dropdown & the font colors are displayed. This happens
EVERY time I try to change font colors. Has anyone else experienced this?
ANy idea what I can do? ANy patches that you know of? I've searched all
over & can't find this issue or a fix anywhere.
