Excel 2007 Can't change font color after SP1 installed

After I installed SP1 for Office 2007 I can no longer change the text color
in a cell. When I move mouse over a color in color picker window excel
crashes. This problem started when I installed SP1. Word works fine. So
the problem seems confined to excel. I ran the repair option and fffice
diagnostics also completed fine. I can change cell colors, just not text
colors. Any suggestions?

Tom, apparently this problem has gone on with 07 Excel since Aug 07, and
seems to always involve an HP printer. You can temporarily eleviate the
problem by removing your HP printer (I'm assuming, since you didn't mention
your printer) as the default printer, and the problem ends immediately. HP is
working on a solution as we speak. I will advise again as soon as they update
me. I feel your pain, as I tore my hair out for 2 days wondering why "the
greatest offfice suite on earth" wouldn't allow you to change font colors in
excel. Seems Lotus had that down in 92!
