Event Viewer

When I turn on my pc every morning, the Event Viewer records Error 7023 under
System. The source is Service Control Manager. The description is "The IPSEC
Services service terminated with the following error. The attempted operation
is not supported for the type of object referenced.

I went back to the Event Viewer and clicked on
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp and it says that the file name is
netevent.dll. File version 5.1.2600.0.

Help and Support Center screen came up. The message is "The %1 service
terminated with the follow error: %2".
Symbolic Name: EVENT_SERVICE_EXIT_FAILED.
Explanation: The specified service stopped unexpectedly with the error
indicated in the message. The service closed safely.

User Action: To troubleshoot the error:
1. Review the error information displayed in the message.
2. To display the WIN32_EXIT_CODE error that SCM encountered, at the
command prompt, type sc query service name. The information
displayed can help you troubleshoot possible causes for the error.

Start>Run>cmd>enter. In command I typed "sc query IPSEC" and
then hit enter. Hope this was right?

I did as above and this is what it says:

"TYPE 1 KERNEL_DRIVER
STATE 4 RUNNING (STOPPABLE, NOT_PAUSABLE, IGNORES_
SHUTDOWN)
WIN32_EXIT_CODE O (OxO)
SERVICE_EXIT-CODE O (OxO)
CHECKPOINT OxO
WAIT_HINT OxO

Can someone tell me what this is and what I need to do, if anything.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Since I bought my newest computer. a similar message appears
constantly. Also with the old computer as well. I just ignore it
as I have seen NO good explanation for it. Don't sweat it, is my
assessment. Others may have different opinions.

From where did you pop up, Peter.
I was addressing Roy - if you follow the thread you will see.
He started this thread I believe.
What has error 4126 got to do with error 7023, that of the OP???
Is OE playing silly buggers today????
