Event ID 7000

The Service Control Manager logs this event every time I start the computer:

"The UDNT service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the device specified."

The Sc query command reports:

SERVICE_NAME: UDNT
TYPE : 1 KERNEL_DRIVER
STATE : 1 STOPPED
(NOT_STOPPABLE,NOT_PAUSABLE,IGNORES_SHUTDOWN)
WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 20 (0x14)
SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
CHECKPOINT : 0x0
WAIT_HINT : 0x0

I have no idea of what device is missing or what doeas this mean. The
Microsoft articles I found do not reffer to this type of error message. Any
help will be greately appreciated.

Drew,
Thanks a lot. The link did solve the mystery. I ended up deleting the
registry keys for UDNT and everything looks OK now
