PCSC_SBP Errors

When I look at Computer Management, Event Viewer, Sytem, I get a few Errors
all for PCSC_SBP all saying Internal error: Cannot connect to assigned
serial
port.

When looking at "sc query PCSC_SBP" I get the following:

SERVICE_NAME: PCSC_SBP
TYPE : 1 KERNEL_DRIVER
STATE : 4 RUNNING
(STOPPABLE,NOT_PAUSABLE,IGNORES_SHUTDOWN)
WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
CHECKPOINT : 0x0
WAIT_HINT : 0x0

My questions are:
What is PCSC_SBP
What is it trying to do
How do I prevent the errors?

Thanks

I'm really just guessing here, but the hints that I picked up on the web
point to some sort of driver issue. That, along with the serial port
mention, says to me that you've got a device connected - either serial or USB
- that isn't behaving properly.

Good Luck!
