Error message - usbhub.sys

Periodically, I receive the message "Windows has experienced a serious
problem and needs to close" followed by a blue screen with:

STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF8785CB2, 0XF8984A94, 0XF8984794)

usbhub.sys - Address F8785CB2

base at F8785000, DateStamp 3b7d868F

Can anyone help?

You may need to reinstall the USB driver..Check device manager and see if it
is without a yellow exclamation mark for "universal serial bus controllers",
then see generic usb hub, properties, drive, driver details, this should show
usbhub.sys. If all seems well you may need to uninstall and then scan for
hardware changes, this can be done from the properties drop down menu you
started with (see above)..
