early morning logon failure

Hi! I have a user who cannot login to the network when she first comes in in
the mornings. For about half an hour or so, she gets a message about bad
username and/or password. Then suddenly it will work. I have
double-checked the password on the domain, and have even been at her desk
when she was having the problem so I could type the password myself to make
sure caps and numbers were entered ok.

Any ideas on what I should check on first? The strange thing about this is
that it only occurs for 30 min or so when she first tries to logon. Later in
the day logins seem to work ok.

I am only aware of this happening to just this one user on the network. Is
it a PC issue maybe? Thanks in advance for any help!

Maybe the pc just hasnt woken up yet. Have you tried giving it some coffee?

What happens if you try and log another user into the same PC? If it allows
it it may be some problem with her profile. If it does'nt then perhaps the
machine is failing to get a network connection perhaps?

Wish it was just that. Doesn't seem to be a consistent thing, and if the
password was bad why can the user login later using the same password? I am
wondering if there is something being cached as far as password, username,
etc....
