changing default save option

I am trying to set up folder synchronisation between my laptop and pc. I have
the instructions and will work though them.

The question is when i set up my docs on pc to be shared , then go to latop
to make that folder avail offline i want to use it as my docs on laptop. Can
i do this if so how.

Otherwise how do i change the default save location for everything on the
laptop to the now shared file instead of the laptop my docs.

Then i can just create a shortcut to it.

does tih make sense?

How about answering the question rather than just posting a skink mentioning
cross posting?

Do you get a choice of selecting like this:

Save In: [ My Documents ][v] you can poll down and select any
directory
|
| Documents here
|
|
|
|
|
File name: [
][v]
Save as Type: [ All Files
][v]
But you can't save a Folder called My Documents in another called My
Documents, the pre will replace the later and you end up with your PC
Documents and losing your Laptop My Documents.
So better to rename the My Document to say My DocShaere and save it on the
Desktop instead of MY Document.
Hope this what you are after.
Let us know.

nass
