Just been playing this game, average i would say, the graphics are pretty good.

Oh well, different strokes for different folks, lol

Prior to this, I'd say Quake 1 or Half Life were the best games ever.

I will, however, reserve judgement until I've finished.

And, couldn't resist, had to try multi-player

Must admit, this time of night on a Friday I a bit sozzled, played just three maps, came fifth, second and last out of about 12 players, not bad for a start I guess

So far, I'm liking all of it

Multiplayer is pretty good though.

This is possibly the best PC Game ever.

Well, that's my first impression having played a few levels of single player.

The graphics are superb, very enjoyable.

I paid £30.00 for this at a GAME store, which is only two quid more than it costs at play.com & Amazon and HMV. And buying it that way I didn't have to worry about the lingering effects of the Royal Mail strike.

Buying this kinda took me back to when I was a kid and got a new toy

Just wait until you play 'All Gillied Up' (SP?) Its an awesome level, in Pripyat and Chernobyl.

I was lucky enough to get it a day early from play.

Good to see MP working now, they've had big probs according to the forum, the master servers been up and down all night. I couldn't get on...

Played COD4 online last night for the first time in anger....Just thought I'd try it out and was still playing at 3am. I have never been so bowled over by the visuals and, more importantly, the actual gameplay.

The Crysis demo left me wondering if they can match COD4 but they will definitely have to get their coding right to make it happier on most PC's. Even if Crysis single-player is superb, COD4 has really raised the benchmark online.

Wow what A game! I love it! Level 24 and counting!

I dont get what the dog tags are though besides some peoples names (VR has them in the screen shot above) and I have them in game also, cant find what they mean anywhere!

So any tips and tricks you found?

The dog tags mean ya dead! They only really mean anything on Sabo ro such game with sudden death, as its last man standing.

Which perks and weapon do you use?

MP5 + Red Dot Sight + Gold Desert Eagle.

Stopping Power + Last stand (for some fun) + Bandolier.

Good choice.

I'm using different weapons for the different challenges, have done all the MP5 stuff so have not used it for a while.

ATM i'm using P90 + silencer + Silver DE. with Stopping power + Steady aim + either 3xfrag or Claymores.

Steady aims good to bring the P90 under control a little!

But my all time fav is M4, Silencer with the digital camo + Silver DE with Stopping power + Deeper penetration ( ) + either 3xfrag or Claymores.

What game type you playing atm? I'm addicted to sabo for now!

Will have to meet up over xfire if you like.

I never use Steady aim, a waste of a perk really as you should always be using the sight.

Deeper penertration i think is a waste also, as the bullets go through enough as it is.

I just play Team Deathmatch currently, yeah sure, i might be on later.

Deep penitration is good for a silenced weapon. Must admit i should try some of the other perks, just forget to change my class most of the time.
