To be honest, when I first saw COD 4, it really did look like a recycled COD2.

Yeah i see its resized, just looks like the aspect ratio is wrong. Look at the gun sight, or the marker on the compass. compared to mine above, Was it once widescree per chance?

loads of problems saying its correct but not able to run on this machine

if u search same errors as people were getting with the demo.

I'm wondering whether this game will run in Vista 64 Bit?

If anybody has some success here, please let me know (that means you belloni - lol )

I'm right on the verge of changing to Vista 64 Bit, I'll accept some older games may not work but if any new ones don't work then Vista can go stuff itself

Also still a little worried about Creative drivers for my 'X-Fi' extreme audio card.

I'm going to buy CoD4 from Game tomorrow, I wasn't impressed with Play-Com's 11 day delivery time for Dirt. And the price ain't that much different anyway.

I just hope it is actually in stock

Well, i downloaded the very latest drivers for my card, and seems to be all good now.

Flops, there is no mention of x64 on the box, not sure if it runs or not, but it dont look like its supported.

I got mine from Play.com, had it on preorder, i got it a day early!

Heres some screen caps, 1680x1050 full AA + AF, down to 1000x625.

Just finished this on regular difficulty, f**king awesome! Buy it, play it, enjoy it!

I played it all day, now time to go MP!

After the credits you get a quick mini mission on a plane.

This is possibly the best PC Game ever.

Well, that's my first impression having played a few levels of single player.

The graphics are superb, very enjoyable.

I paid £30.00 for this at a GAME store, which is only two quid more than it costs at play.com & Amazon and HMV. And buying it that way I didn't have to worry about the lingering effects of the Royal Mail strike.

Buying this kinda took me back to when I was a kid and got a new toy
