My computer boots up with blue screen hardware error so my computer fellow
said it needed a new hard drive so I had a new hard drive but its still
coming up with this error I asked him to come and look at it and he said its
ok just keep turning it off and on again,
when this occurs after some time after boot up it shuts everything down
could it be software as no problems show in devices or hardware tab I wrote
the error for the computer tech but he said it did not mean anything to him
any help welcome please as it driving me nuts thanks

If you can repeat the Blue Screen, could you write the error down and post
it? Letting the error go is not only a generally bad idea because the
problem could return, it could also get worse over time. I suspect it may be
a problem with the memory or your hardware device drivers, but without
seeing what the blue screen posts, I can't be sure.

What make and model is the computer?

Do you have a boot disk?

Does the computer always, sometimes or never complete loading the
Desktop.

The exact text of the Stop Error message would be nice.

Hope this helps.

What make and model is the computer?

Would it not be a sensible precaution to create a boot disk?

Does the computer always, sometimes or never complete loading the
Desktop?
