Thank you so much! You were right on the money. It was hardware and
software. I went to the soundcard website as you suggested and found this:
The device must be connected either to the Digital I/O board or directly to
the daughterboard via Line In2 or Midi In. In the recording section of the
Surround Mixer, ensure that 'What U Hear' or the source which you want to
record from, e.g 'SPDIF In', is selected. This ensures that the recording
from that external device will be successful.
Then I went to my programs and found the software for my soundcard and
enable the 'What U Hear†and it worked!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t thank you enough for your help! Months of asking and looking with no
results and then along came Michael Solomon!!!!!!!!!!!
