XP Prof can not access Internet.

XPInstalling

I upgraded from Home to Prof in XP. Although I had no
problems before, now with XP Prof I can not access
Internet. Messages are "711 A configuration problem on
this computer stops access to Internet" or "Remote access
service is not running". When I try to start the said
service it says "You have no right to access this
service". Could someone help please?
