WindowsXP Prof

Hi,
I have 2 desktops and one laptop on a home network. My (Main) computer, My
daughter's computer (Secondary), and my wife's laptop (Laptop). They are all
on the same workgroup. I was running win2k prof SP4. I had local user
accounts/passwords set up on "Main" for both of the other computers' (users)
to access files on "main". In windows 2k when one would try to access the
files on the main computer, it would ask for their logon information and,
after verifying, allowed access. I have upgraded all 3 to winXP prof SP2.
Now, when they try to access the shared files on "Main", it says "access is
denied...you may not have permissions...dadada" I have checked that the
accounts on "main" are still there, the passwords are still the same. I don't
want to just give the "Everyone" account access, I would prefer to keep these
accounts separate as they have different permissions.
Is there something I am missing? The windows firewall is configured to allow
file/printer sharing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Scott,

What's the complete and exact error??

Are you perchance using Guest access (Simple File Sharing enabled, for
instance)?

SFS Enabled or Disabled, "Everyone" is important.

The error I am receiving is as follows:

"\\C-Main is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
netrowk resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you
have access permissions.
Access is denied"

The guest account is disabled. I have set up individual local accounts for
both users on "Main". One(wife) is a member of the admins group, the
other(daughter) is a restricted user account.

I have set up the individual permissions on the security and sharing tabs of
the properties dialog box for the C: drive. C: drive is shared as "C-Main"

I am not using simple file sharing

File/printer sharing is in the exceptions list in the firewall, it is set to
allow exceptions. and the Local Area Connection is listed and checked on the
advanced tab of the firewall.

Thanks for your help so far!
