Dial-up LAN access

I have a XP Home machine with a dial-up connection and a LAN connection
through a hub. I want to share the dial-up connection with an XP Prof
machine that is also connected to the hub. The XP Prof machine can see /
access the shared files on the XP Home machine. How do I go about sharing
the dial-up to get web access from the XP Prof machine? I've followed the MS
instructions (Article ID 306126) for sharing a dial-up connection but still
cannot browse the web from the XP Prof machine.

The steps in that article should work. Since they don't, connect to
the Internet on the XP Home computer and then follow these steps to
find the problem:

1. On the XP Home computer, right click the local area network
connection and click Status | Support | Details. It should show:

IP Address: 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: none
DNS Server = none

2. On the XP Pro computer, right click the local area network
connection and click Status | Support | Details. It should show:

IP Address: 192.168.0.x (1<x<255)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS Server = 192.168.0.1

3. If #1 and #2 are right, open a command prompt window on XP Pro and
enter these lines. Each one should get four replies:

ping 192.168.0.1
ping 216.239.39.99
ping google.com

4. If #1-#3 are right, enter these addresses in Internet Explorer.
They should both take you to the Google web page:
