XP Pro wont Start

Every time I boot my system I get a screen saying something about a recent
hardware/software change caused the system to improperly shut down (I think).
Then it asks how I want to restart and gives me the following choices:
Safe Mode
Safe Mode w/ Network
Safe Mode w/ DOS
Last known good configuration
Start Windows Normally

It doesnt matter which of the above I choose. With all of them the system
will act like its going to start and then end up right back on the screen I
just described.
Any help is appreciated

IF you have a WinXP CD you can try a Repair Install. Check at Michael's
site for more info.
