XP Pro upgrade and Norton

Pete

I have upgraded from ME to XP Pro and lost all my Norton
2004 programs in the process. On reload, I am getting
the Error 1606 Could not access network
locations\Documents and Settings\All Users.

Anyone have a fix for this?

It's a Symantec key inside of the Registry. Normally, the
message may indicate ::\Documents and Settings instead
of the normal C:\Documents and Settings string.

Unfortunately, there is no automated tool or utility to fix
the key. I recently had a customer who was getting this
exact problem. After a few minutes poking around in the
Registry I would the broken string, but don't remember
the exact key location.
