Hi, I tried installing a CD Burning program
called "Alcohol 120%", which is a MSI Installer I think.
When I try to install it I get an error saying Installer
Information: Error 1606. Could not access network
location "::\Documents and Setting\All Users\Desktop".

Now, I went to Microsoft.com and searched Error 1606...
And it came up with the Error 1606 problem solution..

(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;315352)

but it was different, It said "error 1606, Could Not
Access Network Location <Common Administrative Tools>.All
Users\" Error Message When You Install a Program. Which
is different from what my problem is..Can anyone Help?
I upgraded from Win ME to XP...

Hi,

The message was different, but the case is the same. You quite likely do not
have sufficient priviledges to write to that folder. Right-click it and
check properties/security tab.
