Problem with updating Quicktime error

I have been trying to update my Quicktime. Whenever I try to install
the latest quicktime edition I get this error" Could not access
network location :. ". I don't understand what this error is. It
doesn't really match error 1606

Ok I have seen that. The problem is in my error it does not show me a
path instead I see " :. " these 3 dots. What is that suppose to
mean

never mind i have deleted all the registry keys related to quicktime
and also deleted the program. Did a fresh install and its fine now
