Quicktime will not work in IE

I have Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11. Quicktime has definetely worked for me
before (I'm not sure when the last time was that it worked because I don't
use it that much), but for some reason now it just won't work in web pages
anymore. Whenever I open a window with a Quicktime movie in it, I just get
white question mark over the Quicktime symbol.

I installed (and reinstalled) the very latest version of Quicktime - didn't
work. I tried installing Quicktime Alternative - didn't work. I downloded all
the latest codecs and drivers for my computer - didn't work.

Please help! It would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

You should post your question in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend
some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general. There are a huge number of
posts so it would be smart to start by going to Google Groups Advanced
Search. Use a search term that describes your problem, constrain the
search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very recently.

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you
now. ;-)
