XP Home Clean install freezes at 34 minutes left in setup

I am doing a clean install on my machine Windows XP Home-
and it freezes up at 34 minutes remaining.

I have repeatedly started over and over and it always gets
to 34 minutes. I found some talk about errors just like
that but I dont understand what they want me to do. It
mentioned a driver (USB) that needed to be a slipstreamed
hotfix.

I am so confused. I wish I never bought this program.

Physically disconnect all the attached peripheral hardware devices, except for
your keyboard and mouse, and try again. This includes printers, scanners, etc.
