I get the blue screen of death say and I quote.
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut
down to prevent damage to your computer.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error
screen, restart you computer. If this screen appears
again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is
properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask
your harware or software manufacturer for any windows
updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly
installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory
options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use
safe mode to remove or disable components, restart you
computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options,
and then select safe mode.

Technical information:

group for further assistance."

This is my problem folks, the computer wont even let me
start in safe mode. Nothing except setup from dell that
doesn't help much.

Any suggestions besides a new computer. Thanks

From dell's website, you can download tools to test the
hardware for any errors whatsoever. Just use your service
tag number, download, it creates a 5 disk set, and you can
run an exclusive test on all hardware to determine if it's
a problem with any of that.

I had problems before with the memory, found out after it
was crashing on me all the time, even in safemode. I
reinstalled, and had the same problem
Downloaded and ran this test
memtest86.com
It turned out mem stick was bad..

Also, phone dell's tech support, if it's a hardware
problem, they might replace for free.
