PC keeps restarting

I am experiencing same problem. My laptop wont even complete booting up
before BSOD appears. It will run in safe mode though. Here is what My BSOD
says:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent dmage
to your computer.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart yor
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is propoerly installed. It
h this is a new installation, ask you hardware or software manufacturer for
any windows updates you might need.

I f problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or
software. Disable BIOS memory options such as cashing or shadowing. I f you
need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer,
press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select save mode.

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete.
Contact your system administrator (me LOL!) or technical support group (you
guys LOL!) for further assistance.

Let me know if any of the above tells you anything that can help me resolve
my issue. Thanks.

PS I searched and found a related thread from 2004 2005 on this topic. I
posted there too but there has not been much activity on this thread for
years. One guy posted in jun 07 and got no reply. Is there a way to sort on
threads recently posted to? I can't find one, so I re-posted on this new
thread since it seems one can only sort threads by date they were started.

Background information on Stop Error message:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms795930.aspx

The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process
IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver
(one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by
faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.
http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm

Is Windows Server 2003 installed? If you are unsure select Start, Runm
type "cmd" without quotes and hit ENTER, type "cd\" and and hit ENTER,
type "winver " and hit ENTER. What information is displayed? Type
"exit" and hit ENTER to return to the Desktop.

If you have Windows Server 2003 you may need a Hotfix.

Another cause of this problem is faulty memory. Have you made any recent
change to memory? How many memory sticks are installed?

Do you have either Bellarc Advisor or Everest installed? These
programmes both give more information about the memory than you can get
from the system tools provided by Microsoft.

You will need to test your RAM.

Advice here:
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_Tshoot

If your RAM memory is made up of more than one stick and
if so this offers a simple way to heck for faulty memory. Open the
computer casing and carefully remove one memory card (stick) from it's
slot and run the computer with it removed to see whether the problem
occurs. Repeat the process putting the first memory card back in and
removing the second memory card and test that card. Make sure you allow
sufficient time for an error to occur. When removing the card you will
need to lift a retaining clip each end of the memory card to allow it to
be removed. Take great care not to touch the motherboard. You can also
get an Anti-Static wrist band from a computer store to prevent a static
electricity discharge from you damaging the motherboard.

Dust inside the computer casing can cause overheating and result in this
type of error. Take the casing off and use an Air Duster to clean. Also
check that all fans are working.

Hope this helps.
