XP cannot read printer port

Hi there,
Just changed my os to XP, now the printer doesn't work as
XP can't "find" printer port.
Please advice.

What make and model printer are you trying to install?

How is it connecting to the PC?

Hi Cari,
Thks for the response, my PC is a Dell Dimension 8100,
printers are Canon (BJC-255sp)& Epson (C43SX), both are
using Parallel port.

Check the manufacturer's web sites to be sure the printers are XP compatible
and be sure you have the latest drivers for the printers.

Hi Cari,
Once again thk u for your assistance, the problem seem to
be solved when I refine the port "Resources" to "Basic
config 0000", until then, take care n God Bliss USA.
