A lot of people use Open Office. It is free and I am told, it works well. do
a Google search for it. If you need a spell checker for O.E., there are free
checkers out there as well.

Either. I've never used it, but I hear reasonably good things

Wordpad is extremely limited in its capabilities, and probably
can't do what he needs. I prefer to think of Wordpad as a
glorified text editor.

How about waiting more than seven minutes before whining again?

Others have given you answers in your previous post 7 minutes prior.
Impatience is not well rewarded here.

He's probably not whining, may be new to posting to newsgroups and
inadvertently sent it twice. Pretty basic question asking about a word
processor so I suspect he's not quite comfortable with newsgroups yet.
