Won't open media in separate player

All media access via the internet and any media file
selected of my computer opens as Windows Media Player
within Internet Explorer. How do I stop this so Windows
Media Player opens as using it in IE stretches videos
files and you don't get all the media player features.

Try to check the option for "Don't display online media contnet in the media
bar" From Internet Explorer under "Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab". It
is under the Mulimedia section on the advanced tab list of options.
