Wireless mouse problem

Does anybody have an idea why my screensaver won't activate if I use my
wireless mouse. I just sold my Sony VIAO in which I had no problems with the
screensaver/ wireless mouse. Right now I'm using a Dell Dimension E520 and
have tried just about everything, including downloading the newest driver,
to no avail.

Any ideas on this are more that appreciated !

I have the same machine and had the same problem. I found out that there is
a program (in XP Media Center Edition) EHTRAY.EXE that starts with each
boot. It's supposed to help start up some of the Media Center features, but
it's not required. Prevent it from loading at start up and it may stop your
problem, it worked for me.
