Windows xp wont start

I need help. windows xp wont boot in my computer but if I put the drive in
another computer running windows i can see my document files. The problem is
i need to log on with my user name on the drive that wont boot to view my
protected files. how can i access my files?

If you receive "Access Denied" error while accessing the old user profile / documents, Take ownership and then access the folder. See:
