Hi

A computer C drive is so full that XP wont even boot. It wont even
enter safe mode. How do i solve this problem? Can i get into command
prompt and delete some temporary files so that I can boot again?

Thanks

What error message do you get.??

How do you know the drive is full.

The drive is full because it said so before it crashed while burning a
CD. How do I delete the temporary files?

Thanks

Is your file format NTFS or FAT32.
If it's FAT32 then you can boot from a win98 boot disk and using DOS
commands navigate to the temp folders and delete the files.
If it's NTFS then you'll need a XP CD and boot to the recovery console, that
will give you a DOS looking prompt and you can delete temp files from there.
If you have the XP CD then it may also be worth using chkdsk to check for
errors on the hard disk.

But I still ask what is the error message you get when you boot the PC.
