Windows XP home edition can't resume from standby mode

Hello,
I run into a strange problem after I installed SP2 recently. That is, my machine can't resume from standby mode. If I hit any key or move mouse, it just gets rebooted.
My machine is Dell Dimmension 8200. OS is Windows XP Home
Please advise.
