On first connecting camera via USB port, everything worked
fine - PC detected new hardware, all happy.
On next connection, couldn't detect camera.
Troubleshooting got me to device drivers, where driver was
displayed as suspected corrupt!
Uninstalled driver, rebooted. Reconnected, and all was
fine - until tried to disconnect and reconnect.
Works first time, everytime, after above process, but
fails every subsequent time, requiring uninstall of device
from device manager. (Have patched up to XP SP1, and tried
installing Canon WIA driver - still get exactly the same
result).
