Windows Update Staging

I am very keen to work out how to 'stage' a current 'copy' of the most used XP patches, as delivered by Windows Update. Some of the PC's I install are at the end of a slow line (even less than 28.8K - Yes i know, you never thought they still existed...) So, you can see that it would be advantageous for me to be able to 'update' these PC's from a copy of patches (say on a cd) rather than over the wire

Any one have any ideas ?
 
no...but where did you come up with that 28.8 connection...that's gotta be
from the Flintstones era...
