windows Security Centre

Hi there,
I've recently installed Norton Anti Virus 2007. It appears that it has
disabled my Windows Security Centre. When I open it in Control Panel it says
"The Security Centre is currently unavailable because the "Security Centre"
service has not started or was stopped."
It then suggests that a re-boot will start it - but it doesn't.
I can't seem to find anyway to re-enable it!
Can anyone out there help me?

Hi Jonathan,
If norton Suite including Internet Firewall installed it will take over and
Disable your Windows Firewall, as you don't need Windows Firewall Runing with
Norton, they will cause Conflict and trouble, best to leave the Job for
Norton to handle the Firewall as Windows Firewall is Basic and not good (in
Protection) as Norton firewall.
HTH.

Don't worry about it - this is normal behaviour for NAV. Your Windows
Firewall will still function propely, and likely is - it's just that
security centre won't be popping up to tell you the status of Norton, etc...

Same thing on my system, not an issue.
