windows remember the password

when a site is opened where one's required to write user
name & password to login , after adding this info a
window appear asking wheather "YOU WANT WINDOWS TO
REMEMBER THE USERNAME & PASSWORD"
My internet explorer does not show this window , how i
can enable this feature ( iam using internet explorer 6 )

In IE -- tools, internet options, content tab, AutoComplete, check: prompt
me to save passwords.
