Remember Password

I just got my laptop back from my IT department who upgraded me to winXP Pro
and now the remember password button in internet explorer is gone so now i
have to enter my password for several of the websites i us on a daily basis.
anyone know where the setting to bring this function back is?

You did not mention what version of IE you have but if its 6.x then
you will find this setting here:

Internet Options | Content | Autocomplete |

By the way....If these settings are grayed out then you will have to
ask your IT department to enable that feature for you.

the auto complete is active and still no check box to remember password. IE 6x
