Remember My Password Function

B

Beth

At one point, I inadvertently said 'No' when XP asked if I wanted it to
remember a password. Now I can't figure out how to turn that functionality
back on. Anyone have an idea?

1... Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on Content tab then click on Settings Button opposite the Autocomplete
option.
On The Autocomplete settings make sure this check box is checked by doing
this:

under;
Use Autocomplete for:
[ ] User names and passwords on forms <- please check this box to
activate the sub check box for:
[ ] Prompt me to save passwords.

Either you can uncheck the check box for:
[ ] User names and passwords on forms after you checked the check box
for:
[ ] Prompt me to save passwords. or you can leave if you want the
Autocomplete option!.
