windows messenger

Hello all

I recently visited a Messenger website (amateur) and read that WM 5.1 has
been released. when i tried to go further and download it, the info referred
to it being part of SP2, which I have in my machine.

The properties of the WM version I have say it's 4.7, though.

Is it worth pursuing this to get WM up to date?

My wife and daughter both use MSN Messenger (6). Will WM make any
difference?

If I should install it, how can I do that?
