I have a small but annoying problem. When i click on the start menu and
highlight something with an extended menu, it takes ages to open, when i
click on the icon it oppens immediately whereas before i just put my pointer
over the icon and it immediately opened the next menu without having to
click. I want to put this back to normal but don't know how, any ideas?

I tried that but i got service pack 2, i downloaded it but it wouldn't run.

For some reason you have to launch TweakUI twice to get it to install.

One option is to do the 'hard' way and directly patch the registry yourself.
