Problems in Start Menu, Program bar ...

I recently started having some problems with my XP Home Edition (Portuguese
Version).

When I open the Start Menu, and place the mouse over "All Programs", the sub
menu doesn't open.

When I have more then one window (for instance, of explorer in the program
bar), if i click once, nothing happenns. The only way to open the windows is
to right click and choose cascade, to open all the windows.

When i double click an image, it doesn't oppen.

It all started after a automatic security update.

Wath should I do?
