Windows Explorer default opening

Is there a way to have Windows Explorer open to a user defined settings?
eg I'd like it to not open with the My Documents folder open, but instead
open with all the drives in My Computer listed.

Sure. You can use command line switches in a shortcut. Look for the
following article at the Microsoft website:

Umm... just a WAG, but I think that's is what "My Computer" is for. It
opens Explorer, showing all of your drives... and more
