Windows Explorer and My Music Folder

I am receiving an error message when I open the My Music
folder that says "Windows Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close." AppName: explorer.exe
AppVer:6.0.2800.1221 ModName:qdv.dll

What can be done to fix?

Although Ad-aware discovers many problems, it does not solve all of
them. I currently have a CWS (Cool Web Search) problem that Ad-aware
finds every time but within minutes is re-installed on my computer.
Despite downloading and running CWShredder from Mergijn.org
(spyinfo.com) I have not found a solution to my problem. The point
being that no single source will correct all problems. It may even be
that the source of the problem may be the same place where we seek
solutions.

That is very true, but you are leaving yourself wide open to be infeste
with spyware. CWS (Cool Web Search) opens ports to let in all the
nasty spies, and Ad-aware will find them as you state. Solution
It's your PC, you make the decision. I hope you have a good firewal
installed with anti-virus running. If you are in doubt of what I am tellin

"qdv.dll" is not spyware, this is a part of DirectX. Try running the
following command, Start>>Run>>type "regsvr32.exe qdv.dll" - Enter. If that
doesn't fix the issue then you will want to reinstall DirectX over itself.

The spyware issue is a different problem, but not related to Explorer
crashing on you.
