I use winex to move files. I just acquired a new computer. When I try to
acces my Canon power shot 100 with Explorer it can't find the camera. It
could do so in my old computer. I have installed the "new hardware" and
device manager finds the camera and checks it out as working.

I assume I have not configured something correctly.

Can anyone help?

The *best* way to access picture is NOT to connect the camera to the computer but to use a
memory card reader. This way you save the camera battery power and all you have to do is
remove the memory card and insert it into the card reader and read the data off a drive
letter such as "E:".

SanDisk makes excellent USB Memory Card Readers and they are not expensive.
