Today I installed and uninstalled an old Office 97 disk. Now i have upset the
windows email programme. When i click on it (in the start menu) I get a
notice saying "The item i selected is unavailable. It might have been moved,
renamed, or removed. Doyou want to remove it from the list?
The email account is still in my computer as I have found it in the files.
Can someone help me get things back the way they were please.

You can place a shortcut to Windows Mail on your desktop, on the
Start Menu or on the Quick Launch bar. Navigate to
C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe, right-click on it
and pick from these three options:
Pin to Start Menu
Add to Quick Launch
Send To...Desktop (create shortcut)

Go to Control Panel | Default Programs and set WinMail default. See if
that fixes it.
