Windows Defender is unable to complete the update: 0x8007064c.

Hi,

I had OneCare but since it isn't being offered outside the US, I'm back to
other choices.

I've just reinstalled Windows Defender & it won't get the update file. If I
try manually I get the quick message:

Windows Defender is connecting to the internet to acquire new definitions
and engine updates.

Then the Error message comes up: Windows Defender is unable to complete the
update: 0x8007064c. The installation source for this product is not
available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.

I uninstalled it & made sure that there were no folders & program files from
Microsoft/Windows Defender or other Microsoft/Windows security programs.
There was one folder that needed to be deleted.

I did ensure all security was off when installing. No other virus checker
etc on.

I then reinstalled - same error.

Manually deleted the definitions file within Windows Defender - same error.

My system is up to date with updates etc.

HELP.
