windows cannot start

my computer (HP) has frequently encountered blue screen error recently, as i
could not figure out why it was so, i boot from CD and then tried to format
the whole discs. after formating, i restored sp2, critical update, and
"drivers and software recovery" CD (they all need me to restart the computer,
but i did not as i thought a restart after all were restored could save me
some time), however, when the computer was copying from "drivers and software
recovery" CD (from HP), blue screen error occurred again! and when i tried to
reboot the computer, it was shown that:

winlogon.exe...
services.exe...
lsass.exe...
Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point AssocGetPerceivedType could not be located
in the dynamic library link SHLWAPI.dll

then the computer kept restarting but could not entered into windows normally.

i at that time had no clue, but to run the repair install....

why "entry point not found"? could anyone please help me with it, and how to
prevent it from happening again? please~~

Each computer manufacturer has their own method of restoring a computer
to factory settings. If you are having trouble with HP's recovery
software, you need to speak with HP technical support.

What is the error code? It sounds very much like you had and still
have a hardware problem, not a Windows one. Perhaps the hard drive has
failed.
