window crash and lost files

hi, my system crashed suddenly while i was palying games. i reinstalled the
window xp ,but i could n't find my files. the files i saved in the hard drive
are gone .any sugession to retrive my files . please help.

Download and run Restoration or another Undelete program. The more you
use the hd with the deleted files, the more data you overwrite, so you
should download the program to a flash drive, or floppy.
