Win98 upgrade to WINXP PRO - Fatal Exept 06 0028:00000017

Sorry about previous post,

I am using a volume license to try and upgrade 2 Win98 CPUs to XP Pro, both
are connected to Domains. Each CPU upon reaching 67%-69% to go in analyzing
the machine give a Fatal Exception 06 at 0028:00000017. If you press any key
to continue the upgrade process never continues.

Anyone seen this?

thanks

Did you run the Upgrade Advisor to see if your hardware
and software is indeed Windows XP compatible?

How are you upgrading? Clean install or just an "over the top" upgrade?
In either case, did you check to make sure all hardware (and drivers,
programs if upgrading) is compatible with XP? It sounds like something
is seriously incompatible on these machines. The domain membership has
nothing to do with it.
