win xp reinstallation

Can the setup files of an aborted win XP setup
installation files be removed,so that system starts
normally from win xp without asking which operating
system to open?
 
As for editing the boot menu:

- click Start
- right-click My Computer, go to Properties
- click the Advanced tab
- click the Settings button in the "Startup and Recovery" section
