Hi, I purchase Win 7 Pro edition so that I could run Win XP on it as a virtual machine.
With a few hiccups, this worked ok.
Now I am unable to start the virtual machine (Win XP) and get the message
---‘Windows XP Mode’ could not be restored because of either host processor type mismatch or lack of hardware-assisted virtualization support in the system---
Anyone know why?
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional
Anti Virus Software : Advanced System Care Ultimate 8
Internet connection : ADSL router.
Computer Specifications :- Manufacturer IT Service’s (Grimsby) ltd.
Machine Type PC compatible
Windows 7 Service Pack 1
Processor: Pentium Dual-Core CPU E6600 @ 3.06GHz – 2.53GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB (3.24 GB usable)
Operating System: 32 bit
Workgroup MSHOME
Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010
Keyboard: Vivanco Office Keyboard Plus
