Win XP CD-RW

Hi,

I have a samsung SW252F CD-RW drive. It works fine within Win XP but app
like nero etc just can't find it!. Is the somewhere I can download an
updated driver for it??

Tried samsung, but had no luck.

what version of nero do you have?
nero adds drives in the newer versions all the time.
if you have an older version it may not support your drive

You need to make sure your drive is supported. Go to the Nero website
and check the hardware list. If it's not supported by Nero, the
program will not "find" it. Roxio EasyCD\DVD generally has better
support for devices but the same goes there. Check their hardware
compatibility list.

Drivers for burning come as part of packages like Nero. You need to
check at www.nero.com/en/support.html and look in the Supported
recorders to see what is the earliest version having support for yours

It says you need at least version 5.5.9.23 of Nero for that drive -
check on yours in its Help - about and go look for an updated version if
it is earlier than that
